#8- CATNIP, Nepeta Cataria
Catnip is a wonderful herb that has a long history of use with children. It is most well know for calming the digestion and the emotions. It is a well known headache remedy. You can use it fresh, dry it, freeze it, slip it in smoothies, tincture it or infuse it in vinegar. You can make a tea, mix it with juice and freeze as a popsicle. Kids love that!
In the video below, I mention PANS and PANDAS and the possibility of Catnip bringing some relief. PANS & PANDAS is a very complex situation and I am in no way saying that Catnip will cure it. As with all my videos, I am bringing these plants to your attention to consider using them as a nutritionally dense food or as a complimentary treatment ~with the blessing from your health care provider!
My youngest son, Eben, wanted to be in this video. He is a wonderful little herbalist!
